This Civic Season, Hull-House Museum will partner with the Chicago History Museum and Made By Us to present Civic Engagement or Bust!: Stories, Songs and a Meal for Collective Joy. At this community-building event, we will gather to eat, sing, and share stories of civic engagement. We’ll be led in collective song by Chicago-based musical ensemble Vision the Rhythm and hear stories of civic engagement and action from our community members. This event will include a meal catered by CheSa’s Bar and Bistro, a creole restaurant in Avondale.
If you would like to submit a story to be considered for this event, the submission form can be found here. Deadlines for stories is Friday, May 31, 2024.
