Travel back in time to the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Join the Guild to receive an exclusive first look at the new renovations of the car that took guests to the 1893 world’s fair. We invite you to peruse world’s fair artifacts with curators; meet historic figures who made headlines at the fair; and hop aboard the L car for a tour as it reopens after its restoration. With period musicians, 19th-century costumes, and a luncheon straight from 1893, you’ll enjoy a glimpse of the wonder that fairgoers experienced 131 years ago.
