We require a minimum of one adult for every ten students in grade 3 and above. For groups from pre-K to grade 2, we require one adult per five children. Each adult exceeding these ratios will be charged an additional fee of $10 per chaperone.

Date and Time of Visit

We recommend a visit of one to three hours. Visits begin at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Groups are scheduled to enter the building every 15 minutes. We make every effort to schedule the date of your first choice. If your requested entrance time is unavailable, you will be booked into the next available slot. Note: dates are mostly full through April, with some availability April 8 and 18. Please request dates later in the school year. Starting May, please keep group numbers below 85.

Lunchroom Seating

Limited times are assigned based on availability with consideration for your field trip itinerary. The school group lunchroom has a maximum capacity of 110 students and chaperones. Shared lunch times may be required for smaller groups in order to make the space available to as many groups as possible.
