This educator workshop explores our exhibition Injustice: The Trial for the Murder of Emmett Till. Dr. Christopher Benson of Northwestern University will share his work on the historical significance of the murder of Emmett Till, and CHM educators will demonstrate a classroom activity based on courtroom drawings.
Dr. Elena Gonzales, CHM Curator of Civic Engagement and Social Justice, Rebekah Coffman, CHM Curator of Religion and Community History, and Jojo Galvan, CHM Digital Humanities Fellow, will discuss the Museum’s ongoing project and upcoming exhibition, Aquí en Chicago.
