Following their annual meeting, the Guild of the Chicago History Museum invites you to an exclusive first look at how the Museum is preparing to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Learn from Thema McDonald, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and Erica Griffin-Fabicon, Elizabeth F. Cheney Director of Education, about how you can be an advocate for history in your own community. Then hear from Charles E. Bethea, Andrew W. Mellon Director of Collections and Curatorial Affairs, about the updates that the Museum has planned for our Facing Freedom in America exhibition that will mark 250 years of our country’s history.
