Cemetery Tours
Experience the history of old Chicago as you venture through some of the country’s most beautiful and famous cemeteries. Tours are held on Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
Cost:
$15, $10 members.
Bohemian National Cemetery
Sunday, July 19, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Spanning 126 acres, Bohemian
National Cemetery contains one of the city's finest collections of
funerary art and was founded as a last resting place for persons of
Czech (Bohemian, Moravian, and Slovakian) descent. Cemetery expert
Al Walavich guides you through the "Garden of the
Dead," a true Chicago landmark.

Rosehill Cemetery, Part 1
Sunday, August 16, 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Embark on an architectural and historical
journey through one of Chicago’s most notable cemeteries. Cemetery
historian Al Walavich guides you on a stroll through
Rosehill Cemetery, which is home to the graves of Oscar Mayer, Charles
Dawes, Jack Brickhouse, Montgomery Ward, and Julius Rosenwald.

Refund Policy:
Refunds for a tour will be given in the form of tour credit which can
be applied to another tour. Credit will be given with a minimum of two
weeks notice prior to the day of the tour. No exceptions.
