Mapping Chicago: How Kids See the City

In conjunction with Mapping Chicago, kids from across the city created artwork to display at the Museum. Nearly 300 students participated from six local parks—Hermitage, Loyola, Nat King Cole, Rosedale, Senka, and Woodhull. Depicting landmarks, transportation systems, parks, and neighborhoods, their art reinforces the message that the maps we make reflect who we are and how we live.
