Chicago Fire paintingCommemorate the 137th anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire with the Chicago Fire Department and the Pipes and Drums of the police department. A brief ceremony will be held to remember the lives lost and will be followed by a viewing of fire relics and meeting the acquitted Mrs. O’Leary and her cow.

Fashion Chicago Style

Join fashion industry icons for a discussion with African American style makers about their work and the Chicago fashion industry. Panelists include Barbara Bates, Barbara Samuels, Leigh Jones, and Reginald Thomas. Presented in partnership with The HistoryMakers, the nation's largest African American oral history archive.
