Whose portrait is hanging in the President's office?
The President's office in the Chicago History Museum originally was built as a gallery. In honor of this tradition I continue to display portraits that that are part of our collection. There is a beautiful space to hang portraits over the fireplace.
"Whose portrait is hanging in Gary's office?" Several times a year we choose a portrait and invite the family of either the artist or the subject. This is a great chance to revisit treasured portraits, display them, make new friends, and welcome back old ones.
